Bowling/dropped ball

Question
Hi, I have a tendency to drop the ball at the foul line, and sometimes the ball bounces like a basketball. Soemtimes when I hold onto the ball a little longer and try to put it out a little further out on the lane it helps. Some people say that I should tighten my fingers in the ball, but that doesn't really help. Am I coming out of the ball incorrectly?

Thanks

Answer
There could be some fitting issues with your ball.  I would let a pro shop take a look at it.  Dropping the ball could also be a timing issue.  Make sure you are starting your swing with the first movement of your right foot............if you are right handed.

Good luck,
