Question
hello,
I was just wondering what the purpose of tucking the pinky finger (so that the nail of the finger is against the ball) has to do with the shot. Does it give more revs to the ball?

Answer
It shifts the weight of the ball towards the base of the index finger.  It can generate a bit more ball movement, but you have to be carefull it doesnt put too much strain on the ring finger.  A lot bowlers will shorten the span on the ring finger when they tuck their pinky.

Good luck,
Chip
