Bowling - five pin bowling

Expert: Chip Aki - 1/14/2006

Question
Is it possible to get a spare after removing the head pin? Can the two 3 pins be hit at remove the remaing pins?

Answer
I am not familiar with 5 pin bowling, but removing the head pin in 10 pin bowling makes that spare almost impossible.
If in 5 pin the pins are set like the middle 5 pins in a 10 pin set up, you should be able to make the spare without the head pin there.

This is just a guess though.

Sorry, but maybe this helps.

Chip
