Question What type of ball would you recommend for someone who uses a full roller, high performance or not? I hear this stuff about according to Mass Bias, PAP and PIN but those elements apply to a semi roller as near as I can determine. Would these elements affect the way a full roller is drilled? If so, can you explain please?
Answer A full roller does not have the options that a semi roller has but you can still take advantage of the stronger core designs if the condition would require it. Unless you are on really heavy oil, I would suggest a pearlized coverstock. This will get the ball down the lane a bit better and have a more pronounced breakpoint and more hitting power. If you would need the ball to get into a roll sooner you would be able to adjust the surface of the ball with an abrilon pad or wet/dry sandpaper.
Good luck,
Chip
I would suggest the basic full roller layout and a symmetrical core bowling ball.
