hi i have bowled hook for quite some time now and have been bowling for about 5 years and i was just wondering if you could recommend me a way of putting more revs on the ball that isnt of the ordinary because i have tried every conventional way and i just cant do it. the reason i need more revs is because i bowl at quite a high speed. I just want to get the best out of my balls because ive had a brunswick intense inferno which was a good ball in its time but i didnt show it any justice and now i have the legends terminator and i want to show what it can really do down the lane many thanks,

If you ever played with a yo-yo, that is the motion you will need to increase the revs on your ball.  It is not done with hitting up on the ball with the fingers.  You need to get the fingers under the ball and then collapse the wrist as the ball rolls off of the hand.  Keep the fingers firm but do not pull up with them.
