Bowling/no hook on my NVS

Question
I have the NVS by ebonite and I can barley get it to hook. I have about 200 revs per minute. I have the pin half an inch above my ring finger, the mass bias 3 inches out to the right of the thumb hole and 1/2 an inch up. My CG is half way drilled out because of my thumb hole. What can I do?

Answer
Your ball roll may be to much end over end.  This will cause the ball to not have any side rotation down the lane and will not have a change of direction.  You may be playing too much in the driest part of the lane which will cause the ball to roll out and not hook.
I would suggest you have the pro shop operator watch you throw the ball and see what suggestions they may have for you.

Good luck,
Chip
