Question
i have a reactive ball (quantum),i had it for years now but i stopped bowling so it got stocked, but now i'm interested again to bowl when i looked at it it has a big crack and it damaged the ball and i think it has no use,i want to buy another but how can i take care of without cracking, are there of some form of maintenance in reactives?,unlike urethanes they are still in good form eventhough you are not using them, i hope you could help me thanks

Answer
Reactive bowling balls do not like extreme temprature changes.  Keeping them in dry invironments can cause them to lose some moisture and leads to cracking.  Having said that, I have one that I stil use that is 5 years old, but another one that is less than a  year old that cracked, but that one was covered under warranty.

When you get the new one, keep it from big temp changes and you should be fine.

Good luck,
