Question
my ball is not reacting anymore in heavy oil what is the best recon for it it is a reactive that normaly turns in at 3ft away from the pins right now it just spins and acts like a conv ball i throw the ball fast thank you al

Answer
Reactive resin balls soak up lane conditioner. The quickest way to combat this is to dampen a towel with 100% Simply Green(cleaner/degreaser)Wrung out to damp & wrap the ball over night with thumb hole down.In the morning, un wrap the ball. The slimy film is the junk that was in the poars of the ball.Dampen another towel with Simply Green & wipe the ball down until the surface is clean. This should do the job unless the ball is tracked in.You can run your fingernail on the surface of the ball where it comes in contact with the lane.If you feel a rough surface with the edge of your nail, the ball might be tracked in & needs a resurface job to bring it back to like new condition.
OR,THEY CHANGED LANE CONDITIONS WHERE YOU BOWL & YOU NEED TO EITHER ADJUST YOUR SHOT OR LIGHTLY DULL UP THE SURFACE OF THE BALL TO GET SOME BITE ON THE LANE. IF YOU DULL IT, YOU WILL GET AN ARCH TYPE HOOK. NOT A SNAP.
