Question I am 17 and with a 225 average, I feel I have taken my game to the next level. But I have noticed that I bend too much at the back and not enough at the knees. If I want to take my game to the next level, then I have to simplify my approach and delivery. Are there any exercises or ways to practice to work on and/or prevent my problem?
Answer There are a couple of drills that you can do. Practice at home in front of a mirror so you can work on the body position. Try to keep your head from getting out in front of your knee. At the lanes, try working on the feel by doing a one step drill. Get in your stance a few feet back from the foul line and swing the ball and as the ball starts the downswing, take your last step and slide. This will allow you to get the body position you desire without having to work on everything at once.
