Question
Hi there Chip.  I am alton bowerman from paducah, ky. I remember you and bonnie from cardinal lanes.  I am Linda and Marvin Tapscotts oldest son.  anyway.  My question is this.

EXAMPLE:

I am a right handed bowler.  All avgs. have been set right handed.   I just hurt my right hand, however i can bowl with my left hand.  what has to happen to make this legal. I have heard that if you switch bowl you have to set an avg and must bowl that way in the league you set it in for the rest of the season.  Is this correct or not?  hope all is well with you all.  Al.

Answer
So how are things back in western KY?
If you have to switch hands due to an injury, you will have to set an average with the other hand and if bowling a tournament, you will have to state which hand you would be bowling with.  You would not be able to switch hands during competition unless you are bowling a PBA event.  IF at some point you can go back to right hand, you can without a problem.

Good luck,
Chip
