Question
I recently purchased a new Ebonite Tornato bowling ball and the thumb size is just a bit too big. I do not have a good grip/control when releasing the ball. The thumb hole is l l/8 in size. How to I order the proper size  of thumb insert for this ball. Also where in Eastern Canada can I purchase the inserts.

Thank you.
John

Answer
Unless you have some kind of fitting device, it will be difficult to get the correct size of insert.  The good thing is the hole you have will accept most thumb inserts.

If you have access to a micrometer or some calipers to measure widths, you can get an approximate size for the width of you thumb and then order from an online source.

They may be able to help with measurements too.
