Question
My 5 month old boxer pup has been sick a few times and then seemed to pass out in a trance for about 10 seconds and urinated! She then came round and seemed ok but was sick again! Any ideas?? Ive phoned the vet and they said they couldnt advise us on what to do but just looking for advice if possible??

Answer
First, you need a vet.

Take her to your vet immediately.

Explain to your vet what happens. She is having some sort of seizure.

Passing out "in a trance" is a seizure.

Something is causing it-- she could be poisoned, or it could be neurological...

But she needs to get to a vet ASAP, and if not, the chance of it happening again and her not coming back is high.

There is a cause-- find it, treat it, cure it-

It could even be her heart- Boxers have numerous different heart conditions (if they have one) and it cut be skipping beats and blood flow causing her to "pass out."

She needs to be seen by a vet immediately-- a Boxer-savvy vet- no any old vet.
