Boxers/many pea sized bumps

Question
I have just rescued a small boxer. I think she is about 1year old and noticed many, many small pea sized bumps under her skin on her head, neck and tummy. I have a 14yr boxer and she has the tumors boxers are prone to, but the pups seems different --harder and they seem to move when I check her. I'm pretty sure she doesn't have fleas anyway I haven't seen in on her on in her bath water. any ideas? She is scheduled for her first vet visit in early November;but, I don't want to leave this if it could be serious.

Answer
If you got her from a Boxer Rescue, their vet should have checked her out... if you simply rescued by another means, well...

It could be cancer, or it could be fatty tissue lumps.... either way, they are not suppose to be there.

If she is in no distress or pain, I think it will be alright to wait for her appointment in early November.

I would, however, call the vet, and describe it to him/her. They might want to see her sooner, or set your mind at ease until the appointment.

Let me know what it is though, please.

I am sure the vet will know, and at least do a biopsy if necessary.
