Boxers/raw eggs

Question
I recently rescued a 3 month old boxer puppy from my humane society they were feeding her puppy chow when I got her and due to lack of knowledge I continued to feed her the same! Is it safe to add 1 raw egg to her food when feeding her? If so how often? I tried this once and she really seemed to love it! I plan on buying better food as soon as she is out of this puppy chow!

Answer
What ever you select, select an all natural puppy food that does not have corn or corn gluten in it. Boxers are prone to corn allergies.

I use Diamond Chicken and Rice and Lamb and Rice. Google it and find a dealer closest to you. Or, pick one like it, or like Blue.

You can add a mixture of:

1 raw egg
1 cup whole plain yogurt (no flavors)

Blend in blender and add a little to her food stirring well.

Store remainder of yogurt and egg mixture in the fridge in a sealed container.

This is healthy and helps her digestive system as well as high protein.
