Question
I getting an 8 week old boxer from a former co-worker, who for the first time mated her boxers.  The puppies went for the 7 week checkup for shots and de-wormed.  The vet couldn't feel the puppy testicles and informed the owner to report her findings to me.  Should I be concerned?  What should I expect in the near future?

Answer
His testicles won't descend until 6 months old.

If the vet didn't feel any in his pelvic area, that does not mean he doesn't have any, it means he didn't feel them.

It would be extremely, extremely rare, not to have testicles-- extremely.

If you are concerned, get a vet to x-ray him.
