Hi there, we have a 6 month old female boxer and we are just wondering what her average weight should be at this time, and when she is full grown what her height and weight should be. We seen other 6 mth olds and she seems smaller than them. She weighs in around 40lbs right now.

Average grown female is 50-65 lbs. but that is an average. Height varies.

40 lbs. means she will be  hefty sized girl- muscular probably.

There are small Boxers in stature, medium sized, and the larger Boxer.

Depending on her genetic background- mom small. daddy medium, she'd be one or the other, or maybe inbetween

My female is short and weighs average 50 lbs healthy. She came from smaller stature parents.

Her sire (she had pups) is a 80lbs. medium height, but very muscular and lean.

The Boxer "standard" is for AKC Boxer breed standards to be in show and don't count on our Boxers unless you happen to have one that falls into their standards

It varies and your girl sounds perfect.
