Question
is it ok to breed my white male boxer with a fawn female

Answer
Hi Tessa! If you want to have a good reputation in the Boxer world, then no, I don't suggest breeding your white boy. It's a very heated debate in the Boxer community. I have my own personal feelings towards the white Boxer, it's hard for me to even think of why a group of people would want to eliminate 25% of the Boxer gene pool, but that's the way it is for now. It's really your call. Ask yourself what your boy has to offer the Boxer breed. Is he of very good conformation and pedigree? Does he come from healthy lines, and has a great temperament? If you do decide to breed him, get his health tests done, as Boxers are known for heart problems. You don't want to pass it on to the pups if you can help it. Honestly, it really comes down to each person's own feelings towards this. It's your call. :-) Good luck!

I have owned Boxers for twelve years, and have bred them for eight. I also took a vet assistance course just for my dogs. I have shown in dogs shows, just not a lot.

Education/Credentials
I took a two semester course to become a vet assistant. I didn't go further in it because I had a child.
