Question
A quick summary...my boxer hadn't been acting normally...up in the middle
of the night just sitting on the floor with his ears back, very lethargic, runny
nose...took him to the vet and his blood work came back normal(no Lyme
disease, etc), nothing showed on the x-rays of his chest (no objects
swallowed), he was dehydrated, and a very small trace amount of blood in his
urine which the vet didn't seem concerned about...I'm typing this at 2am
because he has been up for the last few hrs. and being needy (lying on top of
me or looking to have  me rub him...I can't figure it out...I'm now questioning
that he is showing a slight limp and favoring his left front leg and that maybe
causing him stress...any ideas...thanks

Answer
GET HIM TO A BOXER SAVVY VET ASAP!

Boxers are genetically prone to cancers. He could have early signs, but he knows he is ill and is staying close to you and loving on you in fear of his own impending death.

I am telling you, change vets, get his records and test results and get a Boxer smart-savvy vet NOW!
