Hi my 6 month old boxer puppy is loosing her hair, always itching and had bumps all over her. The bumps look almost like acne with a white puss inside. Do you have any idea what this is. We brought her to the vet and they didn't know what it was. We thought it was a allergic reaction to wheat and put her on a hypoallergenic dog food. She is just getting worse! Help!

Hi Danielle. Did your vet do a skin scraping? This is defintiely called for. She may also have a staph infection, not contagious. Either way, you need to do a skin scrape to figure out what's going on here, to know what kind of medications she needs to be on. Read this web site and see if your dog fits the bill.
