Question
1 year old boxer ate piece of bagel with cream cheese and cinammon. No has bumps all over body. Vet gave her a shot. Help for a few hours. Tried benadryl. Face is now swelling too.

Answer
Get her to a vet ASAP.

Benadryl does nothing for swelling. All it is good for is itching for skin allergies and help breathing for environmental allergies.

She will need a shot to reduce swelling, then the vet will prescribe/give you pills to give her to keep the swelling down.

The bagel shouldn't have harmed her. Cream cheese is not harmful. And cinnamon shouldn't have either. She must be allergic to either cream cheese or cinnammon.

But the swelling is dangerous and a symptom of more to come.
