Hi I was wondering if you had any ideas on how to get my Sgt. Maters ears to stand right now they are curled backward he would not leave his tape on and so now they are stuck curled back. Please help he is now he will be 1 on feb 7 his ears were done on April 14 08
You should take him back to the vet and have them taped properly and put the head cone on him with the built in splint that holds them in position.
This is a tedious job, and needs constant supervision.
This is the reason I protest ear cropping. It is painful for the dog, and he is the one that has to wear the contraption 24/7 for months and months, just because his owner thinks it looks good to have ear crops.
It is strictly cosmetic.
I agree with docking tails to protect the Boxer from breaking his tail due to the butt waggle infamous to the Boxer.
Be sure to get him back to the vet for the contraption.
