Boxers/Tight Non-Elastic Skin

Question
I have a 6 year old male boxer. We recently noticed that the skin on the back of his neck is really tight and and you can't really grab any excess skin. It doesn't seem to hurt him or cause any discomfort when we touch it. I tried looking it up online but can't seem to find any information about this and Boxers. I'm not sure if he's not drinking enough water or if this could be a problem or a start of a problem.

Answer
I am not sure about this because I haven't heard about that before.

Boxers are suppose to have nice, taunt skin instead of loose, however, most Boxers do have a loose skin that's fun to grab onto and love.

If you feel it is abnormal, next time you take him to a vet, or call and ask your vet about it, get it checked out.

if it's a sign of dehydration, and you have fresh water available all the time, it can be from an internal problem with kidneys or other things; diabetes, thyroid, etc.
