Hi Jannie, my 10 year old brindel boxer is urinating blood but only at the very end of her peeing, we took her to the vet and they did blood work and took a urine sample and gave her some antibiotic, we got the results back and he blood and urine were perfect so in conclusion we have no idea of why it is she is urinating blood, can you give us any insight of what you think it could be and give us all the reasons why she is urinating blood and what we can do about it.

I would have said an urinary tract infection, and the test should have shown that.

She isn't peeing blood for no reason, and proper tests should reveal the cause.

If she does not have a uriniary tract infection, she could have urinary stones which will show on an x-ray of her bladder.

The uriine tested should be a sterile sample, taken with a catheter, and then an x-ray to rule these two out.

Please talk with your vet if the antibiotics aren't working and she continues to pee blood. More tests are needed.
