Hi, I have an 11 yr old female boxer that I cant seem to keep weight on for anything. She has been wormed and the vet had recommened hig calorie diet and since she has trouble eatting hard food she should have canned. I have been doing this since august and she just doesnt seem to be getting any better. I was wondering if you recommened anything? A guy at the vets office ( another boxer owner) said his daughter-in-law was told that the boost drinks would put weight on a dog and were safe to give them. Is this true? I don't want to give her anything that will put her life in danger. I want to get a good weight back on her and hopefully have her for a while longer! Right now she might weigh 50lbs. Thanks so much!

Hi Samantha,
I have never heard of the boost drink being given to dogs. Ask your vet on that one. I do give my own boxers a homemade diet with the NuVet vitamin supplements and have experienced great weight results.
