Question
Hello Angela,

I have a female boxer named Daisy who is about 4 years old.  She and I enjoy the outdoors.  Hiking, camping, ect.  The winter is coming up and I am shopping for neoprene vests, boots, and flece jackets for her but I was curious if that would be enough.  Will she be ok up in the mountains with me if I buy her some equipment or will she still freeze?

Hi Rick,
Thanks for your question. The boxer has a single coat layer unlike most breeds who have a double coat so I personally don't feel she would be able to tolerate the cold even with the attire you have suggested for any long periods of time.
