Question
I was wondering do boxers coat color get darker with age or lighter?

Answer
That depends- but usually lighter.

Most pups are born fairly dark, and as they age, in a few weeks, usually by the 4-5th week, you will see more clearly their natural coloring.

I have fawn, black-masked Boxers that had pups that appeared to be almost brindle or reverse brindle when born, but in a few days to a few weeks, you could clearly tell they were typical fawn puppies.

The newborn hair is always darker- so depending on your pup's age, will tell his or her true color.
