Question
We are thinking about adopting a 9 month old male boxer. My sister works at a veterinarians office and knows the owner very well. I have a 10 yr old son and a 6 yr old daugter. We also have a Miniature Schnauzer that is 4 yrs old. My biggest worry is that since we did not get the Boxer when he was a small puppy he might not bond with the family. What is your thought?

Answer
Every personality is different.

Try bring him home and introducing him on a trial basis; let him stay the day then take him back- get him again and take him back- hten let him spend the night.

See how he bonds- be sure to leash him when introducing him to your other dog.
