what should I look for if i think my boxer is going blind?

Answer
Hi Crystal. She may bump into things. Sit with her while she's not sleeping. Take a pointer infer and go slowly towards her with it, aiming for an eye. See how close you can get to it without touching it before she blinks. Do this with your finger and see if she focuses on your finger. If she seems to be having trouble, take her to your vet and let him have a look. Is she an old girl?

I have owned Boxers for twelve years, and have bred them for eight. I also took a vet assistance course just for my dogs. I have shown in dogs shows, just not a lot.

Education/Credentials
I took a two semester course to become a vet assistant. I didn't go further in it because I had a child.
