Question
my 3 1/2year old boxer bitch has just started drooling excessivly. she wont let us look in her mouth properly but it seems like something is wrong with her tongue she is avoiding drinking and eating on one side of her mouth.she is not whining or anything. the vet is closed for the weekend and im worried about her

Answer
Although young, that sounds like symptoms of a stroke.

Unless she has bitten her tongue or cut her tongue. Has there been any bleeding?

Also, it could be something she digested- poison to her.

Find an emergency vet clinic and get her to it immediately.
