Question
When should I be seeing my female boxer go into heat again after having a litter of puppies? She stopped breastfeeding by October 15, 2008.
HI. If she normally comes into heat every 6 months, then she should go back into heat 6 months after the last one. Say she went into heat in April, but was bred and whelped a litter, then I would start watching for it again in October (just an example).

I have owned Boxers for twelve years, and have bred them for eight. I also took a vet assistance course just for my dogs. I have shown in dogs shows, just not a lot.

I took a two semester course to become a vet assistant. I didn't go further in it because I had a child.
