Question
WE HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD BOXER MY SON IS DISABLED THEY ARE BEST OF FRIENDS BUT SHE HAS GROWLED AT HIM A COUPLE OF TIMES WHEN HE HAS BEEN NEXT TO HER.NORMALLY HE CAN DO ANYTHING WITH HER SHE IS SO GENTLE WITH HIM I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY SHE DOES THIS.CAN YOU SUGGEST ANYTHING THANKS

Answer
Hi. I would talk to a behaviorist sbout this. That way, they can see first hand exactly what is setting her off. I wouldn't let your son next to her at all until you talk to someone. This is for his own safety, I'd much rather be safe than sorry. I know this isn't much help to you right now, but I suggest this because I can't personally see what's going on when this happens. Does she hae a toy or food? A behavorist is your best bet.

Education/Credentials
I took a two semester course to become a vet assistant. I didn't go further in it because I had a child.
