hi, my 23 month old boxer lily is 61 days pregnant. i have done a lot of research and know what to expect. her temp has been bellow 100 for the last couple of days but this morning i awoke to her standing on my bed panting, i got  up offered her her food but she refused. but then she slept for 3 1/2 hours, now she is awake and panting a lot. has stage1 begun?

Hi. It sounds like she's getting ready. The temp should drop below 98, but it's easy to miss. Usually, they will pant heavily, dig like crazy, can't get comfortable, and may try to hide. This can last up to 24 hours. These are the signs to look for. Good luck!
