Question
I have a 13 week old boxer puppy & she seems very thin. We can see her ribs & her bones stick out on her back by her tail and she's all legs. Is this normal for boxers?

Hi Kim,
No this is not normal, have the vet check her out, some parasites can cause this. Altho boxer pups are mostly legs the first year, the ribs can show a little altho not preferred, the bones showing near the tail is not normal. The ideal would be to feel the ribs or backbones but not see them showing through the skin. Good luck and thank you for your question.
