Answer
Hi Anne,
The average weight for an American male boxer is 70-75 lbs and a European boxer 75-80 lbs when mature at two years old. Since you have just recently moved this is most likely the cause of his behavior issue, just give him more time to adjust to the new home and spend as much time as possible training and playing with him to reassure him. Crate training may make him feel more secure while you are absent the home and help control the potty accidents until he relaxes, at this point it sounds as tho he is just so excited to see you and being in a new home alone can cause this over excitement. Be sure and add a kong chew toy filled with peanut butter or cheese to the crate to occupy him while in the crate and your away. Good luck and thank you for your question.
