Question
My wife and I currently have a 2yr old male boxer and are considering getting a female boxer pup.  our male is very social with every dog he meets and is neutered.  is there anything we should be concerned about and is this a good idea?

Answer
A female is fine.

Remember, a female is the aggressor of the breed, not the male.

A male and female will coexist very well together. I have a male and female. Of course, I have bred them.

But they don't have to be breeding mates to get a long well.

Be sure that when you bring home the new puppy, you show him as much love and attention at the same time; maybe new toys and bones, so he won't become jealous.

Supervise them together for a while.
