Question
I have a 5 month old male boxer puppy named Chucky and i just got an 8 week old female boxer puppy named remy. how should i introduce Remy to Chucky. The first day i came home with Remy i took her outside with Chucky n they were smelling eachother for a while and when Remy got comftorable she started playing with Chucky. Chucky never got exited like he always is he just kinda stared at her n hit her with his big paws it didnt look like he was trying to be friendly in any way. so i took Remy from him and ive kept her inside. how can i know that he wont hurt her?

Answer
Hi Rafael,

The behavior you have described is a normal greeting between boxer puppies. You will have to supervise the play together for several months because Chucky will not mean to hurt her but he could accidently. Just correct Chucky when he gets too rough.Good luck and thank you for your question.
