Boxers/how much to feed an 8 week old boxer

Question
I just got an 8 week old boxer puppy.  She is getting Blue Buffalo kibble 3X a day
The instructions say to feed her a 1/4 cup at each feeding but some of the
websites I've been on say up to 1 cup per feeding.  How much is right?

Answer
A cup is way too much for a 8 week old puppy.

The gauge to use is to remember fist size is stomach size.

1/4-1/2 cup a feeding 4 times a day.

I certainly hope that you are adding water and soaking it and making a "puppy mash" so he does not choke.

I would never feed hard, dry until after 12 weeks old.
