Question
i have a 4 yr old female, she stays so skinny to me, the vet said her weight of 55lbs is normal, you can see her ribs a little. she has food down 24/7 she has a yard of about 6 acres she plays in daily with the other dog, i  just want a little more weight on her so that when people she her they aren't like man she is thin, what do you recommend i do.

The weight for an adult female is average 55 lbs.

If you are concerned and she roams and plays so much, add half and half puppy food to her regular dog food to add higher protein for her playing.

Also, you can add 1 cup plain (no flavor) yogurt to her food once or twice a day. This helps her digestive track and is a treat.
