Question
hi i have a 15 week old boxer, she currently weighs 11.3kg is this right or am i underfeeding her. she probably eats 3/4 of a cup of food 3 times a day is this right.

Hi Hannah,

There is no perfect weight per se at this age, you should not see the ribs but be able to feel them and the pup should have a waistline. I prefer to feed my pups 4-6 cups per day and yes I measure the food to be sure they are getting that amount.Yes feed her at least three times a day and split the food amount into three meals,preferably look at your dog food package and see what it recommends for an adult dog weighing between 50-60 lbs, this is the guide I use and feed accordingly. The pup may not eat the entire 2 cups per feeding but I offer it none the less. Thank you for your question.
