Boxers/My boxer passes out

Question
Hi, I'm so worried about my 8 year old female boxer, in the
last few weeks she has started passing out periodically
usually urinating involuntarily at the same time. she is
only out for a few seconds then comes around again and is
fine apart from a bit of heavy breathing for a few minutes.
its not like a fit at all, her legs just go and shes out.
shes also started drinking quite a lot of water and
urinating more. I will be taking her to the vets this week
but I don't really have much confidence in them as I've just
lost my other boxer to cancer and did not like the way they
treated her. trouble is we don't have another vets here in
my town so any advice from you would be a godsend. She is
predominately white with black ears.
Thank you

Answer
I would recommend another vet even if it means driving to the next town...

Passing out and loosing control of her bladder is neurological-- maybe even seizures..

Anti-seizure meds can help- but a vet must be positive of the cause before treating--- get a new vet........
