Question
I am having an adorable 13 week old male boxer shipped to me.  The breeder told me he was large... He weighs 25lbs.  So just out of curiosity what is the average weight range for a male boxer puppy this age?  Or does weight at this age not indicate size at maturity?

Answer
An adult male can weigh between 70-85 pounds, and an adult female 50-70 pounds.

Boxer puppies are born at 1 pound and a few ounces, and gain weight after 10 days.

At 13 weeks old (almost 3 months old) 25 pounds is good, but rather large. I would think he will be a large male when grown, at approximately 1-1/2 years old, his final weight.

He will probably be a larger 85-90 pound boy once grown.

Congratulations on your new boy!
