My Boxer girl also sits on my other Boxers.  She's not doing this as a sign of agression, but rather as a feeling of closeness I think.  She does the same to my husband and myself.  She NEVER sits on anything other than us!  It's weird.  She will sit on whatever part of someone else she can fit on.  I've never heard of this and was wondering myself wht it could be...The other dogs dont' have a bit of a problem with it and love her to death...I find it crazy though...What do you think?  I've attached a pic so you can see for yourself....

Answer
Hi Lou,
Your boxer girl is experiencing some insecurities and its common among females of the boxer breed. They just need to be close to the pack and are seeking approval. I too have had one that did the same thing. Just don't make a big deal out of it or you could make it worse. Thanks so much for your question and the picture too.

CommentHi Angela...We think its sweet...She just plops down on whomever is available. We lover her so! Since she came along last and was about 15 weeks old at that point, that is entirely possible. She was the last of her litter to leave her mom and dad, so you are probably right about feeling insecure. It's just so funny....Thanks so very much for answering my question though! I'm sure I'll have more. After all, I have 4 Boxers that are always doing something crazy! It's the breed, I guess. Thanks again, Louanda
