QUESTION: i mean the wrinkles on the face from the tip of the nose "and wrinkles are always present from the lower edge of the stop running downward on both sides of the muzzle." ------ american standard... this thing i dont see
ANSWER: The wrinkles from the lower edge of the stop running down on both sides of the muzzle is actually down the clef of the nose into the jowls. All Boxers have them, but some are not as wrinkled and jowled as others. It all depends on his genetics.
Just like in size; there are small framed, medium, and large framed Boxers weighing from 60 pounds to 90+ pounds. Some Boxers have wide eye-set and wide nose and jowls, that is shortened. Other Boxers have more narrow-set eyes and a narrow jowled face that is more elongated.
The American Standard is the standards they set for the show dog. The breeders guideline in achieving perfection in their breeding choices.
Do not fret over this, your Brindle boy is perfectly normal and beautiful.

AnswerWhat is your question?
Your Boxer was attacked on the street? And why?
I certainly cannot answer why another dog attacked your dog- but it happens when an aggressive, misbehaved dog is around any dog. So what is the circumstance, and your question?
