Question
I am a boxer breeder and i was wondering if there was a way that I could breed and register my own bloodline. We are proud of our boxers and we would like to bring out the best qualities in our dogs and still maintain tha akc/ckc registrations.

Answer
I don't believe a "bloodline" is registered, but the sire and dam and litters.

Bloodlines changes: you might use the same sire of your "bloodline" but a different dam for litters so the bloodline is too varied: dam and sire #1 is a bloodline, dam and sire #2 is a different bloodline, dam and sire #3 in yet another bloodline.

The combination is endless and cannot be registered as such.

You can contact AKC and ask, but I believe the sire, the dam, and any litters, are all that is registered: not the bloodline.
