Boxers/Greenish eye discharge

Question
My 2 1/2 yr old boxer male has a greenish discharge in his left eye for the last 24 hrs. He recently spent 1 week in a kennel as we were on vacation. Not sure if he picked something up there or not. Is there an at-home treatment I can do?

Answer
I would not recommend any home treatment now that the discharge is green. That means he has a staff infection and needs antibiotic eye drops from a vet.

Please get him to your vet as soon as possible so he does not have permanent eye damage and it spread to his blood system.

Please.
