Question Hi. We have a 48lb, 6 month old brindle male boxer. He was neutered 12 days ago and we noticed during that time, his urinating increased. Most times we made it outside, sometimes not. We talked to the vet when he had the follow up visit 2 days ago, and they want to measure his drinking (how much exactly he drinks) for 3 days to see if he's drinking "too much". How much is a puppy like him supposed to drink? We have another year old boxer female now and had a 12 year old we had to put down 2 years ago...so this isnt our first boxer...never heard of drinking too much though...
Answer You'll need to measure (in cups- 12 ounces) how much his water bowl holds, and how many times you have to fill it in a day. That will give you an indication.
All I can think of is the medicine given him for the operation. Boxers are sensitive to some and cannot have Acepromazine.
