Boxers/female boxer - uncontrollable peeing

Question
We adopted a pure bred boxer 2 1/2 years ago... she was probably 1 1/2 years at the time. In the last few weeks she has begun to dribble pee while lying down. It surprises her when she does so. This occurs even after she has spent a long time outside. The urine does not have much of an odor and she's not drinking any more than usual. She also recently peed in her kennel while we were gone for the first time since we've had her. We are expecting our first child in 9 weeks. Just wondering if this is from the change that is coming or if there could be a medical concern.

Answer
Hi Laura,

I would be inclined to say its an underlying medical condition and would have her checked out by your vet ASAP. Thank you for your question and good luck with the new baby and your boxer girl.

Sincerely,
