Question
Hi I have new boxer pup and I think he might be too skinny his ribs are very visible. Should I just feed him th large breed puppy food I have now or is there another type of food that he would gain healthy fat from? Thank you

Answer
You said he is a 10 week old puppy-- why would you feed him "large breed" dog food?

He is a puppy. A very, extremely young puppy. He must be fed puppy food- NOT adult, large breed food!

First, some education on puppies, dogs, and especially Boxers.

Join Boxerworld.com and go into the forums and read about Boxers and health, etc.

Secondly, Boxers are prone to food allergies; especially corn.

Select a high quality, natural puppy food that DOES NOT contain corn and any glutens.

Feed the puppy that high quality puppy food until he is at lest 1 year old. Feed him 5-6 times a day,

I highly suggest you take him to the vet to be checked. He could have worms that can cause him to loose so much weight, or other serious issues.
