Boxers/Boxer not eating

Question
I have a 2 1/2 year old male boxer who will not eat because we have a female morkie in the house who is in heat.(sp?)   All he does is whine and whine.  We keep them separated but he will not eat!  I don't know what to do.

Answer
Not eating has nothing to do with the female being in heat. Dogs do not behave in such extreme because of the natural instinct to breed.

Try putting something on his food to entice him. Add a cup of plain, whole yogurt (no flavored, and store generic brand okay) on his food. He will lap it up. Don't forget to mix it.
