Question
do you have any idea why boxer dogs go thin at there back end my dog bonnie is eating well and losing weight still and were worried do yuo know what the problem could be

Answer
She should not be "thin" in any area. She should be well-developed and shaped proportionally. Boxers are a muscular dog, and their hind quarters are extremely muscular- not thin.

She could have a thyroid condition that restricts her weight, or worms, or another disorder and problem.

I suggest to take her to your vet and voice your concerns and see what he or she says about her; is it a problem to be concerned about, or is it your imagination due to concern?

Ask for a T4 thyroid tests, and check for parasites and worms; blood work. Rule out possibilities and ask for a higher calorie diet if the vet thinks she is under weight.
